The reason I wrote this blog is I had to explain Facebook Ads in very simple words to a client who was not that tech-savvy. I drafted an email for him while drafting this email I wrote this blog and thought I should also share this on my blog as well.
In layman’s terms, Facebook Ads works on similar mechanics like printing an ad on Newspaper. Just like you pay a publisher to put your ad in the newspaper or magazine, same mechanics works on Facebook & Instagram Ads, you pay Facebook to showcase your ads on their platform. Having said that, FB Ads is more advanced and cheaper than the newspaper or traditional ads and it is more dynamic as well.

How Facebook Charge?
The best part about FB/Instagram Ads is that you can decide how much you want to pay for your ads, and Facebook will work according to your budget. However, to get the best results it is recommended to put at least $1000 a month. Once you set up your budget, Facebook will only use the budget we set.
For example, there are 3 campaign in the account and each campaign has $20 a day budget, $20×3=$60 a day total budget, Facebook now will not spend more than $60×30=$1800 in a month. However, sometimes when the campaigns are getting good results Facebook can spend up to 10% extra than your allocated budget on a particular day and it will balance out the excess amount spent on that day with spending less on another day within a month.
